Laura manages general operations, and oversees all BuildZig transactions – including property acquisitions. She is the key point of contact for BuildZig investors.
Her career began in the public service branch of the City of Oakland Attorney’s office. She focused on addressing chronic public nuisances and was promoted to Deputy City Attorney. Inspired by the positive impact that changes to the physical environment can make on a community, Laura moved to the private sector and eventually helped to form BuildZig.
Laura particularly enjoys working on BuildZig’s own development projects, which epitomize BuildZig’s core values and bring about a positive outcome for the community, investors, and staff.
Laura received her bachelor’s degree in Rhetoric and her law degree from UC Berkeley. She became a member of the California bar in 2003.
Laura also holds a black belt in kenpo karate and is an avid user of baby wipes for her two young children.
